I have added a few more significant coefficients/outputs to SeaHorse. The values shown are the latest incarnation of the P105 hulls. Since I haven't designed the underwater appendages, the Sail Area to Wetted Surface Ratio is inaccurate, for the moment it only takes into account the hull wetted surface. I am searching the literature for other significant performance measures and will add them to SeaHorse as time allows, the S number and D/L ratio are currently on the list. unfortunately a lot of the literature is targeting monohull design, go figure... |
